I've been hooked on Nike Air Jordan's since I saw a pair of black/infrared VIs back in 1991. For me, it was the fact they had all the credibility of Nike, but had no visible Nike branding, that made them a sort of super Nike. People will argue and say the brand has no heritage, and that adidas is the original, but if you’re like me - a kid in the early 90s - you'll remember that adidas was wack back then. The late eighties and early nineties were like a sneaker arms race, and the Jordan was the A-bomb.
